Heliconian Hall in Yorkville hosts LUMINOUS, a photography exhibit of nine
women photographers. During the opening, eleven performance artists engage with the spirit of selected photographs, a delightful form of synergy. This interaction of art disciplines is called ‘ekphrasis’.
