Gordon Cressy is a great storyteller, and he has stories to tell. Come join us for “An Evening with Gordon Cressy”.

Few know the immense contributions he has made behind-the-scenes to the fabric of Canadian society. He has been a driving force in making Toronto what it is today – a city that takes top spots globally in livability rankings for diversity, inclusivity, and tolerance. Through his stories, Gordon’s life unfolds as a fish-outof-water tale of a kid from North Toronto ending up in the Caribbean and transforming lives, including his own.

Gordon Cressy is a former City Councillor, author, CUSO volunteer, youth worker, community organizer, auctioneer, major fundraiser, teacher, politician, and senior executive. He played a key role on two of Nelson Mandela’s visits to Toronto and founded Take Our Kids to Work and Canadian Tire’s Jump Start.

All are welcome to attend. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the speaker will begin at 7:00pm followed by a Q&A and refreshments. Invite your friends as this is an evening that you won’t want to miss.

Tickets: $35 for the public | $25 for members
