The Gift of L’Arche: Sharing Life with People who have Intellectual Disabilities. 

Beth Porter, a member of the L’Arche Daybreak community in Richmond Hill for more than four decades, will speak about the founding of L’Arche in Canada fifty years ago, its growth and the societal change it helped to bring, and some of her experiences living in L’Arche. Beth’s talk will be followed by a ten-minute presentation by L’Arche Toronto’s theatre arts program, Sol Express.

The recorded talk will go live on May 25 at 7:30 pm and will be available until midnight, June 1.  The cost is $10 for Heliconian members and $15 for the public, including tax.
