A benefit event for the Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal
The Heliconian Music Section invites you to a benefit featuring performers from the Club and friends. Guest speakers will include: Alexandra Chyczij, president of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress; Ben Keast, Operation Pickle Underground: Ukrainian Musician Direct Support; and Mykyta Siromolot, a TV producer and recent refugee to Canada.
Ukrainian-Canadian opera sensation Natalya Gennadi, Aparna Halpe's exceptional Solidaridad Tango, multi-GRAMMY nominee Claire Lynch, JUNO nominees Sara Craig & Maria Soulis new collaborations from Taivi, Catherine Vaneri, Rita Greer & Louise Morley
The SILENT AUCTION starts at 7:30, with inventive contributions from Heliconian members and others. Proceeds of the auction will go to Operation Pickle Underground: Ukrainian Musician Direct Support. There will be refreshments and a cash bar.
The Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal is a charitable fund jointly set up by the Ukrainian Canadian Congress and the Canada Ukraine Foundation.
