La Musique des Années Folless

November 15

Mark your November calendars! The bustling and provocative Parisian arts scene of the early 20th century is the inspiration for this and other events which draw the Heliconian Club together with other members of Toronto’s arts community.

The early 20th century saw an ongoing expansion of musical language and form, from pre-war Impressionists to the charged postwar atmosphere of a century ago, a vibrant time described variously as the Roaring 20s, the Jazz Age and Les années folles. Works by Ravel, Canteloube, Poulenc, Fauré and others.

Doors 2:00 PM | Show 2:30 PM | Includes Intermission
