La Musique des Années Folles: November 15, 2026

The early 20th century saw  an ongoing  expansion of  musical language and form, from pre-war Impressionistsm to the charged post war atmosphere of a century ago. A vibrant time described variously as the Roaring 20s, the Jazz Age and Les années folles. Works by Ravel, Canteloube, Poulenc, Fauré and others.

Heliconian teacher/members continue to bring their students together for an annual program in memory of this esteemed member.
